Hey guys! I know I've been gone for way too long, but im back and just wanted to update u guys on my latest freelance gigs! This time around i was asked to join Celebrity Makeup Artist Ricky Wilson's makeup team for this year's Dior New York Presbyterian Fashion Show! And to top it all off i reunited with one of my favorite models ms. Sessilee lopez (who's face i beat for the show)! In total i did two models and enjoyed every second of it!

Mary Mary part 2

Man when i say god is so good, he really is! So I was home on skype talking to my good friend when i was contacted again to do Mary Mary's makeup this time for 2 days of promo work for the ladies in NYC. The days were fun and definetly early lol, but i really enjoyed doing there faces and was extremely humbled when they chose me again:) Below are some video stills from the 2 days i did there makeup on Fox's Good Day New York and Bet's 106 and Park! Make sure you guys go pick up a copy of there latest album "Something Big". The album is amazing! My favorite songs are "Blind", "It is Well", and "Never wave my Flag"

Ive been without a computer for a little bit, but to my surprise the moment I pick up my laptop from being serviced, I get contacted about doing Gospel singing group Mary Mary's makeup! Man god has a way of reminding you that he has ur back no matter how much drama ur going through.

Kafayat's (Kaffy) Wedding!

I met this gorgeous bride named Kaffy through a mutual friend of ours (thanks Lade! love u!). I was first hired to come in and do makeup for her traditional nigerian wedding, but she loved her makeup so much that she asked me to do makeup for her american wedding as well:) For both days her makeup came out flawless! Rinie's Wedding

This past August I did makeup for a gorgeous bride named Rinie:) not only was she beautiful but her skin was like silk. This made my job so easy! For Her makeup, i did airbrush foundation application. Her makeup came out flawless:) I also did airbrush foundation on her 2 beautiful sisters.

Its funny how life is sometimes when i think about it. just a year ago, no one could have told me that i would have been working with hip hop legends such as Q-tip, Derrick "D-Nice" Jones, Black Thought, and ?Questlove :)

This was such a fun shoot it felt like a party instead of work! Everyone was so cool and down to earth and to top it all off it was a campaign for one of my favorite alcoholic beverages! my drink of choice: Hennessy and coke....til next time

Ok guys I know ive been gone for a long time and the reason being is ive been getting booked alot recently! (man god is so good!!!)

Since ive been gone for too long, i wanted to to do something real special. so i scheduled an amazing shoot with my absolute favorite photographer Jamie Nelson! It was an amazing shoot that happened on my birthday July 13th. The shoot was such an amazing experience that i will cherish from years to come:) Thanks so much Jamie giving me this opportunity! special thanks to my girl and greatest manicurist i know Shamina J. Prom Season!

Yes folks its prom season! lol This beautiful young lady made my job so easy! She already had flawless skin which helped the makeup glide on perfectly:) My advice to makeup artists doing prom makeup: keep the application simple and natural. I dislike seeing prom girls with too much makeup on. keep them fresh faced and gorgeous. You don't want them to look 35 when they are only 16/17...well that's it for me, until next time....chao!

The Makeup Show NYC 2010!

This year i went to the Makeup show for the very first time and I have to say that I loved it!. I met so many amazing artists including Lazarus the Makeup man. The event was full of seminars, body painting, and discounted makeup! I had a blast and I can't wait to go next year!

This day is a special event for the patients living in this hospital/rehabilitation center. Naomi Campbell's fashion for relief: Haiti fashion week show

So Friday feb 12th was my very first NYFW (New York Fashion Week) show and I had a blast! Not only was the show for a great cause, but 100% of the proceeds made from the show went to help the people suffering in Haiti.

It was probably the best experience Ive ever had! I also got the chance to be apart of the Maybelline makeup team for the show. Maybelline provided the makeup for the show and gave us a bunch of free product!

The show did bring out a host of Celebrities like Chris Brown, Estelle, Kelly Osbourne, Jay Emanuel, Wendy Williams, of course the lovely Naomi Campbell, Selita E. Banks, and many others (just to name a few lol). I had a wonderful time and hope i get to work many more FW shows in the future!

Spa and Beauty day, held at Cold Water Hospital in Roosevelt Island, New York was a wonderful experience for ppl who don't get to experience the things that we often take for granted. I had alot of fun this day and met wonderful and amazingly talented ppl with hug hearts. See it things like this that me me love what i do:)
